According to the GMA, they will begin by withdrawing services for Out-Patient Departments and subsequently withdraw all services if their demands are not met. Speaking to Starr News, minority spokesperson on Health, Kwabena Minta Akandor asked President Akufo-Addo to abandon his globetrotting and return home to address concerns of the doctors. According to the Juaboso MP, the government will be held responsible for any deaths arising from the strike. “As a matter of urgency, I believe that the President should stop globetrotting and listen to the medical doctors, these are the fundamental issues bothering Ghanaians.
