A Toronto police officer suffered minor injuries after being struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Yonge and Bloor streets this morning. Police say the officer — who was directing traffic for a construction crew — was struck just before 7:30 a.m. Some lanes of traffic were closed in the area while police investigated. Police say his injuries are minor. All lanes were reopened at 8:45 a.m.
