Hawke's Bay Police have released the name of the man killed in a crash east of Onga Onga yesterday morning. It was a two-car collision at the intersections of Onga Onga Road and Plantation Road, Waipawa, at around 8am yesterday. The Police Serious Crash Unit are investigating the cause of the crash, and are seeking for any witnesses to the crash or anyone who may have seen the silver coloured Ford Telstar sedan heading north from Waipukurau prior to 8am. People with any information that could assist the police's investigation are asked to the Police Serious Crash Unit on 06 873 0500, or anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. Police said a northbound Ford Telstar travelling on Plantation Road collided with an eastbound Nissan Navara ute on Onga Onga Road at the intersection.
