In order to make sure the rightful owner is found, police won't say what the exact amount is or exactly where it was found. Police are looking for the owner of a "substantial" amount of money found in an Auckland suburb over the weekend. "Many thousands of dollars" was left on the ground in Mt Eden Village around 4pm on Saturday. The finder can claim the money after 90 days if the owner does not come forward.
