Photo: Mark PricePolice have released the name of the man who died in a crash on Crown Range Rd, near Cardrona, on Monday. He was 47-year-old Aaron Garth Hoey, of Whakatane. Police extend their sympathies to his friends and family. Mr Hoey, who was part of a group heading south on Cardrona Valley Rd, between Wanaka and Queenstown, died on Monday afternoon when his motorcycle was in a head-on crash with a van.
