The alleged 'gunfight' took place in Fatullah's Pagla around 7:30pm on Wednesday, Fatullah Model Police Station OC Kamal Uddin told bdnews24.com. The deceased were identified as 'Moktar' alias 'Killer Moktar' and his accomplice 'Manik '. Sub-Inspector Abdul Aziz received bullet injury and was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, police said. Moktar and Manik opened fire at police at the time and SI Aziz got shot in the leg, he said. Moktar had at least five cases against him over murders and robberies while Manik had three, he added.
