Winnipeg police are investigating a suspicious incident after a young woman walking home in Charleswood was stopped by a man in a vehicle. Shortly after 5 p.m. on Sept. 20, an 18-year-old woman was walking home near Cathcart Street when an unknown man in a vehicle stopped in front of her. The stranger exited the vehicle and asked if she would walk with him and help him get home, said Michalyshen at a Friday morning press conference. The woman continued walking and the man eventually got back in his car and drove away, Michalyshen said. The vehicle is described as a grey, four-door Ford Focus.
