Invercargill police are investigating a "suspicious approach" made towards a 12-year-old walking to school. The incident occurred between 8am and 8.30am on Monday last week, near a park on Iona Street, a police spokesperson said. The person was on foot and was described as wearing dark clothing, dark shoes and dark head wear. Police would like to hear from anyone who has information which could assist our investigation. Information could also be provided anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
