A woman claims she was racially profiled at a popular Auckland restaurant after seeing her group was described as "Asians" on the receipt. An Auckland cafe "clearly" crossed the line when it referred to a group of women as "Asians" on their customer receipt, according to an Auckland University discrimination researcher. SUPPLIED A customer of Falls Restaurant & Cafe in West Auckland says she was disappointed at the way her group was identified by their waiter. One of the group, who Stuff has agreed not to name, said she found it racist and appalling. A new waiter had typed in 'Asians' on the customer receipt to help identify the group because the restaurant was so busy, he said.
