A full scale taxi strike in Cape Town entered its second day with a bus driver shot, an Eskom vehicle petrol-bombed and sporadic stone-throwing across the Cape Peninsula. It comes as taxi operators unexpectedly embarked on stay-away action from Thursday to highlight their outrage at the City of Cape Town's updated traffic by-laws.
