The Toronto Police’s Homicide Unit has identified the body of a deceased woman found in a suitcase in the Silverthrone area. Police responded to a radio in the Keele Street and Hillary Avenue area Wednesday at around 10:41 a.m. with reports of suspicious activity. Varsha Gajula, 41, of Caledon has been identified as the deceased. Gajula is the city’s 50th homicide victim. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Homicide Unit.
