Earlier, police detained Rohingyas at Bakalia, Patenga, Sitakunda and Hathazari in Chittagong, and in Manikganj and Feni, and returned them to the refugee camps in Cox's Bazar. The 115 Rohingyas were found in several houses and streets between Sunday night and Monday afternoon, Patia Police Station OC Sheikh Neamat Ullah told bdnews24.com. "We escorted them to one place and then sent them back to the refugee camp in Ukhia later on Monday afternoon," he said. The Rohingyas found in Patia comprise newly arrived refugees and those who had crossed the border from Myanmar to Bangladesh earlier. Bangladesh has sheltered around 800,000 Rohingyas who have fled decades of violent persecution in Myanmar's Rakhine State.
