Police were called to Kamo High School on Tuesday morning after reports someone had a firearm. Police have confiscated a BB gun and a knife following an altercation between students at a Northland high school. Police have since found the student and recovered a BB gun – a type of replica air gun that fires metal pellets. Kamo High School is a co-educational school with about 822 students.
