Police call for witnesses in Canada Day shooting

Toronto police are looking for more witnesses in their investigation to find armed suspects who killed two men at a Kensington Market after-hours club on Canada Day. Police confirmed the victims’ identities Saturday, and added that two men aged 34 and 45 made their own way to hospital after sustaining injuries from the shooting. Friends identified the victims as former pro skateboarder Justin Bokma, 42, and 41-year-old bartender LeFranc “Frank” Matthews, both of Toronto. The injuries are non-life-threatening. Two to three armed male suspects are believed to have fled on foot, but police have not confirmed any descriptions and want to speak to anyone who left the scene before speaking to investigators.
