The victims, identified as 82-year-old Gasalege Kumi Salisa and his 42-year-old son, Amoah Gasalege Amoah, were rushed to the Nkwanta Municipal Hospital for treatment. Following the incident, intelligence gathered indicated that some of the suspects had fled into nearby bushes. A joint security operation involving the military led to the deployment of a drone, which identified individuals hiding in the area. Security personnel subsequently pursued the suspects, leading to the arrest of three individuals, while three others managed to escape.
