Police have arrested a man who failed to stop for police in Dunedin earlier this afternoon. A 20-year-old Nelson man was arrested without struggle, after being found by police on foot after abandoning his vehicle. The chase came to an end on a beachfront track in Waikouaiti where the suspect's car was surrounded by four police cars. Police abandoned chasing the man north of Dunedin after his driving became too dangerous. "Police followed the vehicle for a short time but the motorist's driving was deemed too dangerous for the matter to contiune.''
