Share TweetBy Vanne Elaine TerrazolaSenator Grace Poe on Friday hailed the Department of Transportation (DOTr) for ordering the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) to allow hatchbacks to operate as ride-sharing units. 2018-05 which allowed accredited hatchbacks to operate as transport network vehicle service (TNVS) units for three years, on certain conditions. The DOTr said it was already amending its 2015 department order to permanently allow hatchbacks as a legitimate transport mode. For her part, Poe lauded the TNVS operators and drivers for their vigilance and fighting for their right to equity.
