Get Chris Errington's exclusive behind-the-scenes take on life at Argyle in his weekly Inside Home Park newsletterPlymouth Argyle have been commended by football finance expert Kieran Maguire for using their 2022/23 shirt sponsorship to highlight food poverty in the local community. Project 35 is a social action initiative aimed at reducing poverty in Plymouth, through a comprehensive campaign of fund-raising, awareness raising, social outreach, food donations, education, and charity support. "What they are doing is absolutely fantastic in highlighting the issues of food poverty and other social issues in the city." As a result of the partnership, Ginsters will remain Argyle's principal partner but are donating shirt sponsorship to Project 35 for the 2022/23 season. A shirt sponsorship deal such as the one announced by Argyle is not unique but, according to Maguire, it is not common.
