Wright-Phillips says Poland striker Lewandowski and France defender Kounde would be shrewd signings for Chelsea, although he has doubts over wantaway Barcelona forward Dembele. ‘Jules Kounde would be a good signing for Chelsea, he’s young and a very talented defender,’ Wright-Phillips told Genting Casino. ‘If Kounde does sign for Chelsea, he’ll have big boots to fill after Antonio Rudiger’s exit. ‘With Robert Lewandowski, he would be the perfect replacement for Romelu Lukaku if Lukaku does leave.
