Platform Specialty Products Corp. is in talks to sell its agricultural-chemicals business to London-based Wilmcote Holdings PLC for about $3 billion. Wilmcote confirmed the talks Thursday morning following an earlier Wall Street Journal report of the possible transaction that could be announced this month, according to people familiar with the matter.
