Photo: Getty (Originally published April 20, 2016)WASHINGTON—Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said he didn’t intend to implement a planned move to put Harriet Tubman on the $20 bill, saying a decision on the change would be pushed off several years. The Treasury Department in 2016 announced a redesign of the $20 bill that would swap in the image of Tubman, the 19th-century escaped-slave-turned-abolitionist, for that of Andrew Jackson, the nation’s seventh president and a slave owner.
