Share TweetBy Roy MabasaA 19-year-old Filipino chef from Baliwag, Bulacan has bagged the Young Chef of the Year Award during the prestigious North East of Scotland Chef and Restaurant of the Year Awards 2019 in the Scottish port city of Aberdeen. The young chef from Bulacan said he was deeply honored when his menu that represents the different stages in his life was accepted in the two-day competition. Organized by the Hospitality Training in Aberdeen, the competition is touted as the largest regional cookery contest in Scotland. The North East of Scotland Chef and Restaurant of the Year Awards is a competition aimed at recognizing the contributions of chefs and restaurants in Scotland’s North East.
