Khemani Mills. The most unromantic neighbourhood that a child could possibly live in has given me some of the fondest memories of my life. In every household, through the open windows, you could see children sitting on the bed, rocking back and forth and memorising lessons from the book kept on a pillow in front. Those who were slightly better off, or had better senses, would sit at a desk, with a table lamp and all. You see, love, especially first love, doesn’t need electricity — it just needs a spark.
