Police, firefighters, and paramedics from Arlington Heights responded about 9:16 p.m. Monday, February 27, 2023 to a report of a vehicle fire with an explosion at an apartment parking lot at Stonebridge Apartments. Police and firefighters upon arrival discovered a pickup truck on fire in a parking lot on the north side of the property. The owner of the pickup truck reported that an unknown person intentionally set the pickup truck on fire.
