He was airlifted to Dunedin Hospital after the crash and died there yesterday morning. Mr Baker, a computer technician, won the 2016 Otago Wildlife Photography Exhibition Photographer of the Year, beating nearly 2000 entries. A member of the Dunedin Camera Club, he was described by a fellow member as likeable, enthusiastic, knowledgeable and humble.
