A woman accused of attacking Victorian MP Jane Garrett remains under police guard in a Melbourne hospital. The 43-year-old former emergency services minister suffered minor injuries when she was assaulted, allegedly by a 52-year-old woman while walking along Drummond St in the suburb of Carlton yesterday afternoon. "I'm horrified by reports that Jane Garrett has been attacked today. "Just heard the terrible news that Jane Garrett has been assaulted in Carlton. My thoughts are with her and her family,'' Greens MP Ellen Sandell said.
