Philadelphia Phillies outfielder Andrew McCutchen has a torn ACL and will miss the rest of the season, according to multiple reports Tuesday. McCutchen injured his left knee during a rundown in the first inning of Monday’s loss to the San Diego Padres and underwent an MRI exam on Tuesday. McCutchen played nine seasons with the Pittsburgh Pirates (2009-17) before splitting the 2018 season with the San Francisco Giants and New York Yankees. The Phillies were expected to call up outfielder Adam Haseley from triple-A Lehigh Valley to fill the spot on the 25-man roster. Philadelphia also acquired veteran outfielder Jay Bruce in a trade with the Seattle Mariners over the weekend.
