This despite efforts by the Embassy to continue coordinating with Indonesian authorities to determine the plight of Filipina Ella Paaño, the Filipina tourist who went missing in the Indonesian resort island on Christmas Day. Ambassador to Indonesia Leehiong Wee told the Department of Foreign Affairs that the Embassy in Jakarta remains in touch with authorities in Bali who are investigating the case. He added that Bali authorities have promised to send a full report on the status of their investigation.
