Melissa Vining says the support shown towards her dying husband's call for better cancer care has been both humbling and comforting. Winton man Blair Vining has fast become a lead voice in a push to get the Government to put together a cancer plan. Vining has terminal cancer and has set himself the goal of presenting to MPs a petition signed by 300,000 people before he dies. The plan is for Blair to present the petition to National MPs Michael Woodhouse and Hamish Walker at the event.
