People in the South Otago town joined thousands of others across the country this month to host fundraising breakfasts for breast cancer research. Co-organiser Karen Roughan said they were always amazed at the strong support from local people for their events. ‘‘Just look at this morning - they were queuing up outside the cafe before we even opened at 7am.’’
