Police were called to reports of altercation at an address on Buckleys Rd, Linwood, about 8.20pm on Sunday, a police spokeswoman said. A person had serious injuries, but left the property and made it to Anzac Drive at least 2.5km away, before calling emergency services. The person was then taken to hospital by ambulance.
