Red Cross volunteer programme lead Darren Frazer says volunteers are almost done training for the intake in August. The next 10 refugees for Southland are expected to arrive in Invercargill in August. In February, the Government said it would continue the refugee quota programme. However, for the intake of refugees arriving in August, there were enough volunteers, who had almost finished training, he said.
