KANGAR: A 22-year-old student was charged at the magistrate's court today with the murder of her newborn baby early this month. Nur Azian Khalid from Jalan Santan here was charged under Section 302 of the Penal Code. The accused, had allegedly caused the death of the newborn baby girl at a petrol station at Jalan Kaki Bukit about 6.35am on Sept 1. Half of the court room public gallery was occupied by the accused family members who were present to follow the proceeding. Also present was a counselor of an institution of higher learning where the accused was studying.
