PETALING JAYA: Perlis Road Transport Department (JPJ) personnel swapped their boots for dancing shoes as the Panama Dance Challenge fever hits Malaysian shores. In a three-minute 40-second video shared on YouTube on Wednesday (March 7), JPJ staff performed dance moves choreographed to the catchy reggae and dancehall song "Panama" at the Perlis JPJ headquarters. This year's Panama Dance Challenge, however, has even "infected" the medical fraternity with the Selayang Hospital, KPJ Penang, Hulu Selangor Health Department releasing their own version of the dance on social media. The song, "Panama", is a 2013 pop song by Romanian artist Matteo. Curiously enough, the Panama dance is not featured in the original music video.
