BUTTERWORTH: The Armed Forces Ex-Servicemen Affairs Corporation (Perhebat) has expressed commitment to ensure that all retiring servicemen will have job placements upon their retirement. This comes after Perhebat signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Alion Nation Solution Sdn Bhd, a company which has expertise in light-emitting diode (LED), to create jobs for about 300 retiring servicemen. Perhebat chairman Lieutenant General Datuk Seri Abdul Aziz Ibrahim said each retiring servicemen could earn over RM3,000 a month with their new job. He added that Perhebat had been engaging with industries in the country to create a training platform for the retiring servicemen. Meanwhile, Abdul Aziz said Perhebat also offered other courses to help retiring servicemen, including hospitality and catering, mechanic and electrical field.
