DHAKA, Feb 24, 2026 (BSS)- Mominul Haque has expressed his frustration at being labeled a "Test-only" player, saying the tag has hampered his opportunities in white-ball cricket. Mominul remains a key figure for Bangladesh national cricket team in the longest format and is the country's third-highest run-scorer in Tests. Currently featuring in the one-day format of the Bangladesh Cricket League (BCL), Mominul is representing East Zone. Speaking to reporters in Bogra after his impressive knock, Mominul said selection for any format should be based purely on performance rather than labels. Preparing someone solely for red-ball cricket sets a bad example for red-ball cricket," Mominul said.
