Photo: PIDDHAKA, Feb 24, 2026 (BSS)- Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Afroza Khanamtoday directed authorities to strengthen cleanliness measures at all airportsto ensure passenger comfort and safety, including immediate mosquito controlinitiatives. Emphasizing improved passenger services, the minister underscored the need tomaintain strict cleanliness standards across the country's airports andinstructed the authorities concerned to take immediate steps to spraymosquito repellents in and around airport facilities. State Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism M. Rashiduzzaman Millat,speaking at the meeting, said the trolley shortage at Hazrat ShahjalalInternational Airport must be resolved urgently to enhance service quality. The minister and the state minister directed the officials concerned tocomplete ongoing development projects within the stipulated time frame.
