DHAKA, Feb 11, 2026 (BSS) - BNP standing committee member Nazrul Islam Khan today said any attempt to create anarchy during the upcoming elections will be resisted by the people. Earlier, a three-member BNP delegation, led by Nazrul Islam Khan, met with the CEC. The other members of the delegation were BNP Chairperson's Advisory Council member Ismail Zabiullah and Election Steering Committee member Gias Uddin Rimon. Responding to a question about the role of the Election Commission (EC), Khan said the party had expected a stronger stance from the commission. Expressing optimism, Nazrul Islam Khan said the BNP believes the election will be fair and voiced confidence in the party's victory.
