Chief Secretary Anil Chandra Punetha has said that the State government wants to make people partners in development of their villages and the spirit of Janmabhoomi-Maa Ooru is to bring the government machinery at the doorstep of people. Addressing a Janmabhoomi-Maa Ooru programme at Kaza village here on Tuesday, Mr. Punetha said all the plans to develop wards in villages and municipalities had been made in consultation with people. The Chief Secretary interacted with the beneficiaries of various schemes and inspected the developmental works in the village. Aid limit raisedCollector Kona Sasidhar said the State government had initiated the mass contact programme to bring prosperity in every family. Special Officer for Janmabhoomi and Commissioner for Tribal Welfare Development Gandham Chandrudu said people of all sections were being made part of development.
