People from all walks of life participated in the marchPESHAWAR: Traders, members of political parties, community leaders and members of civil society staged a protest in Mardan, Lower Dir, and Landi Kotal along with the other districts of the K-P against the Indian threats. This was the second day of rallies and protests in favour of Pakistan Army. Some 500,000 people in Lower Dir announced they will stand shoulder by shoulder with the army in case of an Indian attack. The effigy of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi was also set on fire during the protest. In another protest in Lower Dir’s Taimar Garah area, the participants said the tribal people were ready to fight alongside Pakistan Army in case of Indian misadventure.
