GEORGE TOWN (Bernama): The father accused of splashing hot water on his eight-year-old daughter allegedly did so because his children finished all the food prepared by his wife, say Penang police. Timur Laut police district chief ACP Che Zaimani Che Awang said in the 1am incident last Thursday, the pre-paid card sales agent had just returned home from work and was expecting to find his dinner waiting for him. ACP Che Zaimani said the man then took a bowl of hot water from their water filter and splashed it on the victim.
