GEORGE TOWN: Five small landslips have occurred on the road up to the Air Itam dam. The Penang Water Supply Corporation has ordered the road closed pending repairs and an assessment on road safety. Hikers and tourists are advised to avoid visiting the dam for now. The morning rush hour has been brought to a standstill by massive floods after a downpour that lasted all night.
