SEREMBAN: All 31 religious and tahfiz schools in Negri Sembilan will undergo immediate inspection starting today to ensure their fire safety systems are functioning properly and meet regulations. “This inspection process is a normal practice which is one of the tasks and responsibilities conducted by the department. But in view of the latest fire tragedy, we feel it is important to amplify the inspection process this time, and no schools will be excused,” he said when contacted today. Noorazam said, all religious and tahfiz schools in the state need to be inspected at least once a year, to ensure the premises’ safety features are adequate and comply with the regulations. We have advised all schools to give priority to safety measures to avoid any untoward incidents,” he said.
