A man is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after police said he was struck by a vehicle near the waterfront Friday night. Toronto paramedics said they responded to a collision at Lake Shore Boulevard West and British Columbia Road just after 9:30 p.m. Toronto police said the driver of a vehicle struck a pedestrian near the intersection. Paramedics said they took a man with serious, life-threatening injuries to hospital. The driver stayed at the scene, police added. They said they closed the intersection to investigate the incident.
