Paramedics were called to Dynevor Road in the Dufferin Street and Eglinton Avenue area just before 7 a.m. and pronounced the man dead at the scene. Police say a man in his 60s is dead after being hit by a van in the city's northwest end Wednesday morning. Toronto police said the driver of the van remained at the scene and is co-operating with police. Paramedics could not immediately provide details on the victim's identity or the circumstances surrounding the incident. The driver did not receive any injuries, according to paramedics.
