A 30-year-old female pedestrian was sent to hospital with life-threatening injuries Thursday night after she was hit by a car, police say. Hamilton Police Service were called at 9:43 p.m. to the John and King streets intersection. Police say a 20-year-old Hamilton man was driving northbound on John Street before she was hit by the car. At this point, drunk driving and speed have been ruled out as reasons behind the crash, police say.
