A person has been taken to Oamaru Hospital after being hit by a car in Reed St shortly before 9am this morning. A police spokeswoman said Oamaru police were called to the scene about 8.40am. A St John spokeswoman said the patient taken to hospital had suffered moderate injuries. No further details were available.
