A pedestrian is in a critical condition after being hit by a bus in central Auckland. The pedestrian was taken to Auckland City Hospital, police said. Delays were expected for bus services 22, 24, 25, 27, 70, 75 and the Sky Bus. Auckland Transport spokesman Mark Hannan said the double-decker bus involved was operated by NZ Bus and had been removed from the road. Munir said a lot of people gathered around the injured woman before she was taken to hospital by ambulance.
