Pearl Jam and K-pop’s Monsta X coming to Toronto, as are other foreigners including Foreigner
Meanwhile, K-pop band Monsta X revealed Monday it’s also playing Toronto, and acts ranging from young indie-pop stars to classic rockers have said they’re doing the same. Tickets go on sale Friday, Jan. 17 at Livenation.com; no word on prices yet. The current version of Foreigner — still featuring band stalwart Mick Jones after 44 years — hits the Budweiser Stage on Aug. 8, with special guests Kansas and Europe. YOU MIGHT BE INTERESTED IN...A pop-rock hit machine 20 years ago, Matchbox 20 is back and playing the Budweiser Stage on Aug. 30 with the Wallflowers opening. And finally, country veteran Tim McGraw plays the Budweiser Stage on July 25, but there’s no information yet on ticket sales to general public.
