The Peace Arch border crossing has been reopened after being closed in both directions due to a police incident earlier Friday evening. Bernee Bolton, director of communications for the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA), would not give details about the incident but said travellers planning to cross the U.S.-Canada border should use the Pacific Highway crossing instead. Surrey RCMP were on on scene, having received a call at 6:03 p.m. PT from CBSA asking for assistance.
